SubtitleFly

Terms of Use

These terms apply to this website and video subtitle translation inquiries. A written quote or project agreement controls the final scope of paid work.

Last updated: July 27, 2026

Website and service model

SubtitleFly is a service inquiry and delivery website, not a self-service software platform. Submitting a form does not create a binding project or guarantee availability.

A project begins only after scope, delivery format, timeline, price, and other material terms are confirmed in writing.

Service scope

For SRT-only projects, standard delivery is a translated SRT. For video projects, delivery may include a translated SRT and a video with new subtitles burned in, as confirmed in the quote.

If a project includes removing existing burned-in subtitles, the processing method and expected result must be confirmed separately based on the footage, subtitle placement, and source material.

Dubbing, scriptwriting, content strategy, and platform approval guarantees are outside the standard service unless separately agreed.

Your materials and responsibilities

You must have the rights and permissions needed to provide videos, subtitles, scripts, links, names, trademarks, and other project materials.

You are responsible for accurate instructions, lawful content, timely feedback, and final review before publishing or distributing delivered materials.

Quotes, timelines, and changes

Website descriptions are general and do not establish a fixed price or delivery date. Quotes depend on language direction, duration, episode count, material condition, delivery format, and scheduling.

Changes to source files, scope, languages, or delivery requirements may require a revised quote and timeline.

Quality boundaries

We aim for natural subtitle translation, consistent terminology, readable line breaks, and the agreed delivery format. We do not promise 100% error-free output, audience performance, or platform approval.

Burned-in subtitle removal results depend on the background, motion, occlusion, and subtitle placement in the source footage. We do not guarantee a completely seamless result for every video.

Specialized legal, medical, publishing, or regulated content may require separate review and is not accepted automatically.

Intellectual property

You retain rights in materials you provide. Rights in final deliverables are governed by the applicable quote or agreement after payment of agreed fees.

SubtitleFly retains rights in pre-existing tools, templates, workflows, and general know-how that do not contain your confidential project content.

Availability and liability

The website may be updated, interrupted, or unavailable. To the extent permitted by law, the website is provided without warranties beyond those expressly stated in a written project agreement.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Updates to these terms

We may update these terms as the website or service changes. The date above shows the latest version. Project-specific written terms take priority if they conflict with this page.
